You might find a book here or an article there, but no other place talks consistently and as deeply about the work of consulting, freelancing or vending to nonprofits as ThinkNP.com. ThinkNP.com was started by someone with experience in nonprofits, is a nonprofit consultant, and teaches nonprofit management at several universities. That means we've probably seen your experience, or know an expert who has... and (and this is real important) we bring them right to you. ThinkNP.com is convenient. Even if you can find educational resources like what you see at ThinkNP.com (which we doubt), they're probably embedded in a conference full of other sessions that don't mean much to you, at a place you can't afford to go, or at a time that means you miss valuable client time. And chances are, they're not focused on working with nonprofits. ThinkNP.com brings you real education. ThinkNP.com's content isn't somebody's infomercial disguised as a class. This is real, actionable information broken into bite-sized pieces you can put to use today. ThinkNP.com is a community. Consulting, freelancing or being a vendor to nonprofits can be isolating. You work with nonprofits all day, but you're not one of them. You know others like you, but you don't have time to connect - because you're both doing client work! ThinkNP offers you the safe space to connect with others like you, at your convenience. You can pick up some valuable information in a class, a webinar or on the Forum, right when you need it.
Those are great resources and we encourage you to Like us on Facebook, join the LinkedIn group or review the free information on ThinkNP.com. But to get real, in depth information, you need to to become a full-fledged member. Then you can post on the Forums, take classes and webinars and see the latest special opportunities. Joining ThinkNP is your important business advantage!

If you have valuable information for the community of consultants, freelancers and vendors to nonprofits, let's talk. The best instructors have already taught or run seminars at colleges/universities, community education programs, professional conferences and/or local association meetings. If you have a video sample, all the better. Remember, all classes are educational instruction about how to be a consultant, freelancer or vendor to nonprofits. They are not advertising for your business or a particular product. However, if you are a selected instructor, you will be profiled in the "Meet Your Instructors" section, where you will be able to talk more about your business in a promotional manner. Yes! ThinkNP.com welcomes guest blog posts and articles on consulting, freelancing and being a vendor to nonprofits. The material must be related to work with nonprofits, ideally marketing, back-office or cultural issues. While your specialty can be mentioned (like fundraising, accounting, management, etc.) it should not be the subject of the piece.
